Dunsfold Park celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Harrier's first flight from the airfield with a special event in November 2010. This was made all the more poignant by the Harrier's imminent retirement from RAF service.

so true that it says more about the uk than the aircraft sad that the harrier has to go :'(
