Vulcan and VC10 Formation at Brize Norton Families Day 2009
After leaving Bruntingthorpe on Friday 12 June, RAF Brize Norton once again provides a temporary home for Vulcan XH558. The station held a families day on Saturday 15 June 2009 where the aircraft performed its new display sequence and also a very special formation flypast with 2 of Brize Norton's VC10s.

Great to see the sixties
Great to see the sixties icons in the air together again. I well remember the battle of britain air days at RAF St Athan with these and other great brit aircraft of the time. oh to see a Britannia flying again..

Looks like Waddington display will be all yours Vulcan team from the sparse military line up. May be I know nothing but why can't they use some of the statics and get them up? May be the fly ins on Thursday and Friday will be better than the show proper?
