Military Airshow '94 [DVD]

Aviation Action cameras attended 19 events in 1994 and we drew on the very best material in compiling this all action video. We pay tribute to the retiring Buccaneer but welcome theEurofighter with footage of both prototypes including air-to-air. The giant C-17 Globemaster III, the awesome Sukhoi Flanker variants the Su-30 and Su-35, and the Russian M55 (U-2 spyplane equivalent) all make their debuts. Helicopter coverage includes a spectacular commando attack supported by Navy Hunters and we take a look at the Apache, Tiger and Roolvalk contenders for the Army's attack helicopter requirement. The huge Super Frelon and CH-53 are rare and welcome inclusions.

Visitors to the UK for the D-Day commemorations included Tomcats, Hornets, MIGs and Mirages, Phantoms, Falcons, and F-III and more. The Italians were out in force at airshows with several types including F104 Starfighters and the appearance of the Spanish Matadors was a rare treat.

Add the massed ranks of RAF and NATO hardware which appear at several events and you have a thrilling 90 minutes of non-stop action.
