The Biggin Hill International Air Fair is not only one of the most famous worldwide aviation events but it is also the largest privately organised airshow in Europe.
2008 was testament to that with the airfield reaching capacity as thousands flocked to the former World War Two fighter station for a great mix of flying display participants.
Everything that displayed is included, several with on-board mini-cams including most of the aircraft in the role demonstration.

hi thank you a dvd were half isn't taken up by people doing interview on the ground thats so anoying, one more gripe why is the sound dramatically toned down on all dvds, leave the sound as it should be very loud thats what air shows are all about.
cheers michael.

Hi I like having the in-cockpit interactive features separate from the main program I am sorry if I did not make this clear.
thank you

Glad to hear it Anthony. I take your point about the DC-6 display, I'd have liked nothing better than to include the full display but unfortunately there's always limits. We did have plans to fit a camera in The SIx, but again there just wasn't time in the end.
I'm not quite sure what your last sentence means. Are you saying that you like having the in-cockpit interactive features separate to the main program? Or just that you enjoy that feature generally?
Many thanks

Hi i can say yes i did injoy it. The camera work is of the same standered as past planes tv DVDS. It was worth the wait my only criticism is that the DC 6 desplay was not a bit longer. How about for the future a inbord camera on bord the DC 6 ? I also liked the idea of not have half the desplay on one angle and the other half on angle two.
thank you

I have not received mine yet either.
I rang PlanesTV on the 17th of this month and the recording on the phone said it would be posted out on the 20th of this month (August) and sent via 1st class which is 2 days. Well given it was the bank holiday, it still isnt here. Maybe I'll give them another call.
Any updates that anyone has received it yet?
Thanks

I also ordered mine at the show and have not received anything yet. No reply from email nor phone number that was on the receipt. I'm glad to hear it's not just me but a bit worried that it's been so long.
