This promotion is for the first 3 Volumes (covering WWII Warbirds) of what we intend to be a 12 volume set. Future volumes will cover modern military, pre-war and post-war historic types, heavy civil and light civil categories. Qualification for inclusion in the Enclopedia is that the type is still flying or close to flying again after renovation or retirement. The producers have made strenuous efforts to be comprehensive but this is a near impossible task especially where light civil is involved.

This exciting and ground-breaking development in aviation reference and entertainment will be continually updated with additional aircraft types, new footage, interviews, interactive cockpit recordings and technical information. This will be available on the web to encyclopedia purchasers and new editions of the volumes will be periodically released on DVD.

This Volumes 1 to 3 series features video footage of almost all important WW2 warbirds flying today and includes some we could see flying again soon. The series is aimed at being an audio-visual partner to the wealth of printed works, books and magazines. The narrated sound track can be switched off to leave the location, mostly stereo, sound.
