Civil airliners featured too, including the Comet and Concorde making a timely diversion from Heathrow's anniversary celebrations.
Some famous piston types bring an audible respite OFMC's Dewoitine D27 made its debut - but jets dominate this video. The reported prospect of a flying Mig 17 or even a Mig 21 and Phantom maintains the excitement till the end.
