The RAF Waddington International Airshow is the RAF’s premier public event of the year and despite a poor weather forecast, thousands flocked to the show. Unfortunately the weather caused the cancellation of the second day but not before we’d witnessed some fantastic aerial demonstrations.

This DVD focuses on the flying action and takes footage from the press preview day as well as the Saturday show day. Highlights include the Indian Air Force’s Russian designed Su-30MKI and Ilyushin transport and tanker aircraft.

An important part of the airshow was a special Falklands War 25th anniversary ceremony where Lady Thatcher joined appreciative veterans and members of the public in commemorating the conflict. The future was well represented too with a formation display from Waddington’s Sentry, Nimrod and new Sentinal aircraft. This DVD also includes a special appearance by the new Nimrod MRA4 aircraft.
