The Vulcan's first public display of 2009 at RAF Cosford Airshow.
Greeted by a capacity crowd eager to witness the mighty aircraft's display, XH558 did not let us down. A superb performance from Martin Withers and crew brought loud applause from the estimated 58,000 spectators.
Thanks to both RAF Cosford & The Vulcan Restoration and Display teams for putting together a great day out. Especially as the Vulcan had only made the show due to some very hard work by all concerned.
Glad you liked the vid - I hope I didn't get in your way!
Yes the wide shot is from the second camera - a nice little beasty it is too. I Haven't had the chance to play properly with it myself yet. Quality is almost as good as the JVC - the main difference you're seeing here is down to different exposures.
Was the footage at 00:50 (with camera located in front of the ‘The Blades’ aerobatic team) taken using the Sony HDV you guys had? There seemed to be quite a difference between that and the footage from JVC on top of the van?
