Frame Rate
It seems that there is a compatability problem with Sony PS3s and Blu-rays at 50i, the European Standard, instead of 60i found in the US.
Make sure you update firmware on older US Blu-ray Players.

Sony Players & Region 0
Not sure this is helpful but it's been my experience that Sony DVD and Bluray players in the US are very intolerant of non region 1 discs. I've had several Sony players (but not PS3) and none of the would play a region 0 disc.
My LG bluray player plays the Vulcan DVD fine.
Good luck

My Sony PS3 will not play these discs...
Just received my copy of this blu-ray set here in the USA, and the discs will not play in my Sony PS3. These are advertised as region '0,' and I thought the PS3 would play almost any disc out there...
David Kitchen did reply to an email I sent, and they are looking into the issue...

Review Please
Could those who have received this please comment on the picture quality. Also for how long is each display shown for (30 shows seems like a lot to squeeze into 6 hours)? I am particularly interested in the Frecce Tricolori display at RIAT.
Thanks a lot.
British Airshows on Blu-ray
I have a collection of all the British Airshows from 1990 to 2008. The photography was excellent. I looked forward to see them on blu-ray for the 2009 airshows, which I anticipate would be more stunning. After seeing airshows on blu-rays, I have lost interest to see those on regular dvds!
