Patrouille Suisse

Military Airshow presents the highlights from 6 of the UK's premier events in a 90 minute feast of spactacular action. A massive range of military metal from 10 countries including Russia appear in an all action style that will bring hours of pleasure to any aircraft enthusiast.

In 1989 The Red Arrows celebrated their 25th year. Their anniversary event at RAF Scampton was a focus too for the very best in team aerobatics with the French, Swiss, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese joining the Reds in a spectacular display of aerial excellence.

This DVD also draws on other displays in the UK and Europe featuring some very rare visitors. Crack parachute teams and individual 'smoke on' jet displays complement the classic aerobatic light aircraft to deliver a big variety of material.

Fighter Meet North Weald '89

Our first airshow. Contains some rare gems - a JU52 in the 'set piece battle' and both the Fleet Air Arm's Sea Furies, which have since been destroyed. Also featured the Tigercat debut. 22 aircraft types in all.

Colmar in South East France is a Mirage base and the 12 Mirage scramble on this video is a rare treat, as is the Patrouille Suisse with their Hunters and the French Air Force parachute team 'FENIX'

RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire hosts the RAF’s premier airshow and this 1 hour video draws on the very best action from 7 events with cockpit cameras in the Lancaster, Tornado and Pitts.

WWII types and early jets contrast with an astonishing line-up of military metal.
The USAF Thunder birds and their F16’s are just one of 6 teams featured.

The Yeovilton Air Day 2007 attracted massive crowds who enjoyed a fine summer’s day packed with exciting aerial displays from the UK and Europe.

An added bonus for visitors is the large Fleet Air Arm Museum but our brief is action in the air and this DVD features everything in the flying display in the order it flew on the day. Particular highlights were the Patrouille Suisse with their F-5E Tiger II aircraft and the unique sight, in 2007, of 2 Harrier GR9s performing in the spectacular Commando Assault Finale.
