RAF Upper Heyford

The 1991 Sky Pageant featured a variety of NATO types with rare outings for an F4 'wild weasel' Phantom, a Fouga Magister of the Belgian Air Force and incredible aerobatics by a Fokker F27 Troopship. Upper Heyford's static display was especially big with more unusual visitors and a welcome airing for a Republic F105 Thunderchief airframe used for battle damage repair.
