PlanesTV cameras recorded all the action at the Sea Harriers' tribute show at RNAS Yeovilton 16 September 2005. The last public display of the dependable British fighter attracted massive crowds hoping for an action packed day, they were not to be disappointed. Military Airshow presents the highlights from 6 of the UK's premier events in a 90 minute feast of spactacular action. A massive range of military metal from 10 countries including Russia appear in an all action style that will bring hours of pleasure to any aircraft enthusiast.

Biggin Hill International Air Fair is a two day event held every year. The organisers excited themselves for the 1994 show, attracting a huge range of participants and this full 82 minute video, featuring every aircraft displaying, does full justice to one of the best ever airshows at this historic Battle of Britain fighter station.

The Royal Naval Air Stations at Yeovilton and Culdrose are the two biggest in the UK and they each out on a massive show to thousands of visitors in 1994.

The brand new Sea Harrier FRS 2 launches from Yeovilton's 'ski jump' and the Italian Tornado does nearly the same from a hard runway! Indeed, the Italians were out in force at these events with rare and spectacular displays by the new Avanti, G222, MB339 and iced by the Frecce Tricolori, arguably the world's best national aerobatic team.

"Woodford Airshow is one of the best in the UK. It is organised by the Royal Airforces Association and hosted by British Aerospace who build the ATP airliner at Woodford. BAe types therefore feature but so do the Vulcan and Lancaster, with Woodford being the site of the former AVRO company. Other historic types included locally owned and flown Cirrus Moth, BAe's Mosquito and a Lightning F6 (for static display) on a rare outing from BAe Warton. This years stars though were heavy metal.

Aviation Action cameras attended over 20 events in 1995 and this video draws on the very best action to present a huge variety of hardware from military inventories - East and West.

The most potent front line jets from the worlds premier airforces share the stage with 8 formation teams, airlifters, trainers, helicopters, and all manner of specialist role aircraft. Rare and spectacular displays include only the second ever UK appearance of the F117A 'Stealth' fighter.

RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk is operated by the United States Air Force and hosts a big military airshow over the two days of the Spring Bank Holiday.

1991 was the 15th annual event and included rare displays by the heaviest metal in the USAF inventory including the B1 and B52 bombers, the C5 Galaxy and C141 Starlifter transports and Mildenhall's own KC135's tankers.

Fast Jets included the F15,F16, Tornado and Mirage 2000.

The RAF's Shackleton made one of its last ever appearances contrasting poignantly with displays by the E3A AWAACS and Nimrod.

"The delightful grass strip at Barton, Manchester is just off the M63 and, every May, hosts an extensive flying display. The 'barnstorming' fun is balanced by warbirds, and heavy metal and the organisers always manage to pull in something special. Enthusiasts this year were especially pleased to see impressive displays by the Boeing 757 and some vintage jets including an RAE Canberra."

The annual Mildenhall Air fete is the UK showcase for modern American might and muscle and this bumper length video features the most dramatic action from the 1988 to 1995 shows.

American types dominate particularly the 'heavies' for which "The Hall" is so famous but rare and spectacular contributors from a dozen other air forces are included too.

Navy types, past and present, UK and foreign featured at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton’s 2006 “Air Day”. The RAF supported strongly and the Typhoon appeared for the first time.

It is the Commando Assault finale that Yeovilton is famous for and the Sea Kings, Lynx, Merlins, Harriers, Hawks, Falcons and troops were out in force with explosive effect!
